Project Manager Position

About the Role

Stotion is looking for a project manager who will work closely with Stotion clients, designers, developers, and contractors to ensure each project is successful. You will manage a wide variety of project types and balance many moving parts at once. If you are organized and proactive, you’ll be great. If you are not, you’ll be stressed. Be the first option.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Organize client objectives into a set of project deliverables
  • Create a project plan, including scope, timeline, budget, milestones, and employee allocation
  • Handle project contracts, including nondisclosure agreements, master agreements, contracts, and statements of work
  • Maintain healthy, informative, and appropriately brief communication with the clients
  • Ensure all employees have the assets and information needed for success
  • Maintain budgets, deadlines, and scope
  • Schedule employee resources for upcoming projects
  • Schedule, direct, and process takeaways from client meetings and reviews
  • Ensure project handoff goes well and the client is happy
  • Send and follow up on invoices
  • Coordinate the weekly team lunch and gently guide people to better choices if they choose a restaurant you don’t like (ha)
  • Anticipate and resolve project complications

Required Skills/Experience

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle many projects
  • Ability to use the Google Suite and various project management tools to organize complex projects.
  • Professional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized
  • Self-motivated and autonomous, with the ability to take ownership and follow up
  • Problem-solving and flexible when things don’t go as planned
  • Understanding the UX/UI and web development industry is a plus

We are looking for a mid-to-senior level designer with 5+ years of experience in the industry. If you don’t have an online portfolio, please do not apply.

What we are looking for in a Mid-to-Senior Level Designer:

  • You want our clients to succeed and know how to help them accomplish their goals.
  • You notice problems on sites and apps and have at least 3 better ways to solve the issue.
  • You know the difference between branding colors and interactive color guidance.
  • You design interfaces and brands that are immediately intuitive and gorgeous to behold.
  • You`re lickety-split with industry tools like Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
  • Maybe your mom sang you the Form and Function Lullaby to calm you when you were an over-zealous infant.
  • Your keen typography skills noticed that the wrong apostrophe was used in the 5th bullet item.
  • You give and receive candid feedback.
  • Your sketchbooks show you care about developing ideas and are observant of the way the world works.
  • You’re completely honest.
  • You make things clear for all to understand.
  • You’re a team player who works well with others and has a good sense of humor.
  • You rock the “Pomodoro” and take the “Headphone Zone” very seriously.
  • You love free lunch with the team every Friday.
  • You are teachable and coachable. Stotion has a great collaborative feel, and you must be able to both contribute to and learn from it.
  • You want to help Stotion grow.
  • Extra points if your portfolio clearly describes your role in the presented project.
